I wrote this piano piece because I had a crush on another boy at school, Andrew. We were 17. Nothing happened, I don't know where he is now, but in 1987, to feel an attraction to another of the same gender and be ok about that, well, that was a big thing. To feel fine about that, and not be ashamed.
