Non Binary Stripe Squad

I love the non binary flag and its brilliant use of colour logic to help represent the wide range of identities under the non binary umbrella. I created these little characters to try to personify my interpretation of each of the colours in relation to gender identity.
The Yellow Stripe: If we equate the colour blue to masculinity and red to femininity, then that leaves yellow as the third primary colour. The yellow figure stands proudly separate from the traditionally binary coloured hearts. This stripe might represent those who identify as a third gender or outside the gender binary.
The White Stripe: When all the colours of light come together, they create white light. If we assign all of the colours of the rainbow to the spectrum of genders, then the white figure is absorbing them all. This stripe might represent those who feel that they identify as multiple or all genders.
The Purple Stripe: If we assume that the red and blue swirls represent masculinity and femininity, the purple character embraces both of the binary genders (blue and red mix to make purple). This stripe might represent those who feel like a mixture of male and female, or somewhere in between.
The Black Stripe: The colour black indicates a lack of colour and so the black figure floats calmly without gender. This stripe might represent those who feel a lack of gender.
